California Canine Academy presents superior dog training by our certified dog trainers and behavior specialists. Our trainers offer a variety of solutions to dog behavior problems, as well as dog training in the areas of obedience, agility and also train service assistance dogs.  No matter what your training goals are for your dog, we can tailor a training program that best suits your needs.

Obedience       

Every dog should receive some type of obedience training. Obedience training allows for us to better communicate with our companions as well as strengthen our bond. we use a balanced approach to training, focusing on positive rewards and results. Whether you are just getting started with a new puppy, or preparing to compete in an up coming event, we have a training program to help you succeed. For pets, we customize a practical curriculum that meets your needs and fits your daily lifestyle. For competition training, we emphasize precision and team work to help put you on top.

Agility training can help build confidence in almost any dog. This type of training is so positive that we have incorporated it into many types of training. For those of you who like to compete, this is the fastest growing dog sport in America. You and your dog will love the challenge, fun and action.

Training Services: Private Lessons

Private lessons are scheduled one on one with an expert trainer. Most people bring their pets in once a week for 9 weeks to learn the basic commands. You will have 6 private lessons with our experts and then 3 lessons in our group training class so that your dog can learn to listen with other dogs and people around. 

Training Services: In-Kennel

Your dog will stay in our "country style" boarding facility and work daily with one of our professional trainers. At the end of your dog's stay, your instructor will teach you all of the exercises and new commands that your dog has learned.

 

Training Services: Group Lessons

Group Lessons allow you to train your dog in a more social environment that is fun for both you and your dog. We offer five levels of training: beginner off leash through hand signals. Your dog will not only learn to mind, he will gain socialization skills.  

 

 

Training Services: Quick Fix-It

This program is great for people with busy schedules, and for those who prefer results more quickly. We will fix two problems that you are having with your dog. The lesson is two hours total for $50.00 and can be divided into two classes.
